This webinar series will give producers an opportunity to share their concerns and learn about their options.
Issues related to this year’s challenging growing season and harvest conditions across North Dakota are the focus of a webinar series North Dakota State University Extension is hosting beginning next week.
The series will start at noon Central Daylight Time on Tuesday, Oct. 29. NDSU Extension specialists will present live and be available to answer questions.
“This webinar will give North Dakota producers a chance to learn about ways to deal with concerns about unharvested crops, forage shortages, animal stress, condition and weaning challenges, and other issues facing producers across the state,” says Miranda Meehan, NDSU Extension livestock environmental stewardship specialist. “Please join us to learn more about options and discuss your concerns.”
Here are the dates and topics that will be covered:
- Tuesday, Oct. 29, unharvested wheat
- Wednesday, Oct. 30, considerations for cow-calf management
- Thursday, Oct. 31, unharvest corn
- Monday, Nov. 4, assessing and stretching forage supplies
All of the webinars will start at noon.
